In honor of the all the animal lives lost during the holiday season, my partner and I decided to adopt a turkey this year. Her name is Tutu and she was saved from becoming a holiday dinner meal. She now thrives at Farm Sanctuary in New York. I cannot explain the warm feeling this small action gave me.
